Big Day of Giving!

Big Day of Giving inspires tens of thousands of people from around the capital area to support local nonprofits and causes that matter. When you contribute to the Uplift People of Elk Grove, you help us continue to serve our community as we work to eradicate poverty, one family at a time.

Anytime between today through 11:59 p.m. on May 2, you can make your tax-deductible gift! The minimum amount is $10, and all major credit cards are accepted. If you prefer to give by check, please write "Big Day of Giving" on the memo line and mail it to Uplift People of Elk Grove 8986 Elk Grove Blvd. Elk Grove, CA 95624.

Special Evening at Elk Grove Food Bank Services

On May 2 we will be collaborating with our friends at the Elk Grove Food Bank Services for a special event honoring our supporters. Visit our booth at the Elk Grove Food Bank, located at 9888 Kent Street in Elk Grove, between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. for some snacks, swag, and the opportunity to win two tickets to our 2025 Mardi Gras Madness Event ($110 value). Learn more about Uplift, and talk with participants and volunteers about ways to get involved.

Our mission is to provide a framework that allows individuals and families the opportunity to break the cycle of poverty and move to a place of more abundant lives. Uplift People of Elk Grove uses a comprehensive and holistic approach which focuses on avoiding homelessness, continuing education, financial management, securing employment, self evaluation and moving off public assistance. We bridge the cultural and socioeconomic class lines that often divide us. Uplift is built on the philosophy that all participants will gain greatly from their experience and that we all benefit from the support and encouragement of others. We work to challenge preconceived beliefs about poverty.
